Doris Ann White, age 86, of Ethridge, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 at NHC Scott in Lawrenceburg. Doris was born on March 31st, 1939 to the late Shaffer Mitchell and Mary Alice Stutts Wright in Lawrenceburg. Doris loved being a mother, raising 3 children and numerous grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, going to yard sales, collecting antiques, being a dog mom, and spending time with her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward White; sons, Michael Holt and John Garretson; brother, Larry Mitchell, and her step father, Freemon Wright.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Garretson; grandchildren, Jeremy Garretson, Victoria Garretson, Jonathan Garretson, and Trenton Holt; great grandchildren, Jericho Garretson and Calista Garretson, and her daughter-in-law, Heather Green.
The graveside service will be held at Mimosa Cemetery on Monday, December 15th, 2025 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Jonathan Garretson will be officiating.
