Aunt Irene and Uncle Dennis were very special to me. I have such fond memories of Aunt Irene when my family traveled from Georgia to visit my grandparents. Aunt Irene and Uncle Dennis would always make a visit to my grandparents home or my family would go to their home. My sister, Misti and I never missed a chance to spend the night with her. She did not have a girl and would dote on us. I have always cherished my time spent with her. I will never forget the time my sister and I spent several weeks with my grandmother during the summer. Danny and Aunt Irene brought my sister and I, as well as my grandmother back to North Georgia in Danny's truck. This was a four hour drive. I sat in Aunt Irene's lap and my sister sat in my grandmother's lap. We laughed at Aunt Irene's stories and had the best time. My sister and I still reminisce about this fun trip to this day. Aunt Irene will be missed, but her spirit will live on with me forever.

Ms. Irene was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever meet. She always had a smile and was a dear sweet friend. I will miss her greatly.
