Jeffery Dion Morton

Jeffery Dion Morton, age 63, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 at North Alabama Medical Center. Jeff was born May 29th, 1961 in Loretto, TN to the late William Randolph Morton and Laura Marybell Buchanan Morton. Jeff worked for many years at various manufacturing plants in the Lawrence County area, including Murray Ohio and Graphic Packaging. In his spare time, he enjoyed working outdoors, watching the races, working on his cars/motorcycles, listening to music, and spending time with his loving family and friends. He was of Methodist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Debra Morton, Joy Morton, and Elizabeth Morton.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Melanie Enochs Morton; daughter, Teeisha Morton-Jones (Michael); our daughter, Bionka Prince; siblings, Hedy Smith, Charles Morton (Kris), Randolph “Moose” Morton, Brenda Reed (Darrell), and Kathy Morton; grandchildren, Zia Jones; "Our Daddy Jeff," Payton Dillingham, Jeremiah Christian, and Skylynn Christian, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
