John Thomas McGough, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on August 9th, 2025 at his home in Lawrenceburg. Tom was born on September 11th, 1952 in Detroit, MI to the late Lowell McGough and Emogene Crosthwaite McGough. He retired from Johnson Control in Pulaski, TN, and was a member of First Street Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Cindy Whitten McGough; son, Chris McGough (Kelly) of Key West, FL; step-daughters, Jessica Williams and Laura Bristow, both of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Christina McGough of Nashville, TN, Ryan, Jace, and Brooklyn Tipper, all of Lawrenceburg.
The family of John Thomas McGough would like to thank everyone at Arden Hospice, especially Nikki and Carly, who were there for them every step of the way. Their care and compassion helped so much. They are truly a part of the family now.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
