She is survived by two sons, Joe (Peggy) Purcell of Lawrenceburg, TN, James “Booty” (Betty Jane) Purcell of Knoxville, TN; one daughter, Carolyn Purcell of Leoma, TN; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild.
She was preceded in death by, her husband, Orby Purcell, her parents, Wiley and Betsy Hughes Fowler, son, Bruce Purcell, grandson, Ricky Purcell and several nieces & nephews; two brothers, Alfred & George Fowler and one sister, Bessie Marks.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11 am with David Simmerman officiating and interment in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Tuesday, August 4, 2014 4 ~ 8 pm.
