Survivors include his wife, Sarah Jo Lopp Shannon; sons Noah “Bud” Shannon (Cindy) of Lawrenceburg and Joseph Dallas Shannon (Lori) of Indiana; step-son, Eddie Lopp (Mary) of Lawrenceburg; daughters, Kathy Pilkinton (Mike) and Betty Emerson (Roger); and step-daughter, Tammy Clayton (Stanley) all of Lawrenceburg; brother, James Shannon (Dale) of Antioch, TN; 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Shannon; sisters, Ivene Johnson, Luthene Wilkerson and Uldene Wyatt.
Services will be held, Friday, July 28th, 2016 at, 10 am at Deerfield Baptist Church with Ben Emerson officiating and interment in Deerfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Deerfield Baptist Church, Thursday, July 28th, 2016, 5pm - 8pm.
