Mrs. Phyllis Crews Johnston, age 85 of Lawrenceburg passed away on July 19, 2015 at NHC of Somerville Healthcare. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, Co-Owner of Johnston’s Department Store and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Ricky Johnston; daughters, Jeanette McGee, Lisa Rork, Amy Ellenburg; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Crews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Walter Johnston; parents, George F. and Lillie Flippo Crews; brothers, Ford Crews and George Filmore Crews Jr.; sisters, Lucille Stazack and Marguerite Carmack.
Funeral Service wil be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11 am with Warren Adams officiating and interment in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at Pettus-Turnbo, Wednesday, July 22, 2015, 4 pm ~ 7 pm and Thursday, July 23, 2015 10 am ~ 11 am.
