Rhonda Carol Campbell

Rhonda Carol Campbell, age 54, of Summertown, TN, passed away on Friday, July 11th, 2025 at her home in Summertown. Rhonda was born on October 21st, 1970 in Lawrenceburg, TN. She worked as a mail carrier for many years, before deciding to stay home with her young children, attending sporting events, and tending to her home. She would go on to clean many houses within her community, a job she loved dearly. She was a caregiver at heart, and spent many years taking care of her grandmother as she grew in age. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, rooting on her children at their many sporting events, scorekeeping on the golf course, teaching Sunday School classes, leading the middle schoolers as a character coach for the basketball program, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was a firm believer in her lord, Jesus Christ, and was a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Beatrice and Jim Runnels; her maternal grandparents, Hattie and Jim Pollock; her uncles, Walter Runnels and Donnie Pollock; aunt, Margie Valentine, and her nephew, Tanner Michaels.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jason Campbell; children, Nick Nance (Katelyn), Kaley Belle Campbell, Cole Campbell; grandchildren, A.J. Nance, Leslie Pearl Nance, and Jentzen Nance; parents, Ronnie Runnels and Judy Runnels; siblings, Scottie Long (Angie), Kim Runnels Stephenson, and Tara Hatfield (L.D.); aunts, Peggy Hansen (Bruce), Sudie Garland (James), Mary Frances Olivares (Johnny) and Roberta Brazier (Ray); uncles, Danny Pollock (Nadra), Tommy Runnels; nephews, Ryan Hammonds, Hayden Hammonds, Isaac Tessner, and Hunter Long; nieces, Josie McCoy, Hannah Lovett, Brooklyn Long, Alyssa Campbell, Tori Campbell, Lanie Campbell, Karlie Campbell, Hadlie Campbell, and Paislie Campbell; honorary grandmother, Lola Randolph.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Todd Ozment and Brother J.D. Bosheers will be officiating.

Interment will be held at Baker Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
