Robert G Harris

Mr. Robert G. Harris, age 77 of Lawrenceburg passed away on March 23, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was a native of Wayne County, TN; U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Liberty Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Rodney Harris (Christy) of Lawrenceburg, TN; Ricky Harris (Christy) of Loretto, TN; two daughters, Tina Mathis (Keith) and Regina Womble both of Lawrenceburg, TN; two step-children, Michael Newton and Susan Prince; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two brothers, George Harris of Dayton, OH, James Sherman Harris of Loretto, TN; one sister, Betty Coffman of Lawrenceburg, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kathryn Harris; parents, William McKinley and Vellar Morgan Harris and two sisters, Bessie Jones and Evelyn Staggs and one brother, William Harris.

Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2 pm with Gary Crosby officiating and interment in Gum Springs Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Friday, March 25, 2016, 5 ~ 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liberty Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
