Dan was a cousin of ours and I remember with great fondness the times when our families would visit each other. Dan's quick wit and sense of humor was always welcome as was Julia's warmth and charm. They were loved by my parents (Bo and Elba Parkes) and me, as well.

Julia, you and your family are in my prayers during this difficult time.

Dan, Julia and I graduated from LCHS in the class of 1950. I have fond memories of them both. I am saddened to hear of Dan's passing. He was seven months older than me and his death serves to remind me that I must get my house in order. One never knows how much time he/she has remaining.

My heart goes out to Julia and all of her and Dan's children and grandchildren.

With much affection and sincerely,

Guy M. Norton, Jr.
