Roy Chalmers Bryce, age 92, a native of Lawrenceburg died at Windsong Village Convalescent Center in Pearland, TX. He was a Naval Veteran of WWII, a member of First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceburg, the VFW, American Legion and a charter member of the Jerry Thomas Class.
He is survived by two, sons Bob (Carol) Bryce of Pearland, TX and Joe (Ronda) Bryce of North Augusta, SC.; two grandchildren, Amy Crum and Samuel Bryce and two great grandchildren, Christopher and Bryce Crum.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sibyl Bryce; his parents, Paul Walker Bryce Sr. and Mysie Dick Bryce; one brother, Paul Walker Jr.; and two sisters, Marguerite Robertson and Ruth Autry.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 2pm with Jim Gardner officiating and burial in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home, Saturday, June 25, 2011 5pm ~ 7 pm.
