Mrs. Ruth Dyer Nelson, age 97 of Hohenwald, TN passed away on November 15, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Knox County, TN, retired LPN in the State of Florida, member of the Highland Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Edward M. Nelson; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson S. Nelson, daughter, Sylvia Mills, her parents, James M. Dyer Sr. and Minnie McNew Dyer,
Funeral Service will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Hohenwald, TN, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2 pm with Pastor Scott Patz and Pastor Sam Livingston officiating and interment will be in the Swiss Cemetery in Hohenwald, TN.
Visitation will be held at Highland Baptist Church, Saturday, November 19, 2016 1 ~ 2 pm.
