Telesa Lopez

Telesa Rochelle Lopez, age 59, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg. Telesa was born on September 29th, 1966 to the late Mabel Ivadene Lanier and Charles Lanier in Lawrenceburg. Telesa had a heart of gold and loved her family dearly. She spent her adult life as a homemaker raising four children, as well as other children within her neighborhood. In her later life, she loved being Nana Mom to her eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, hosting gatherings, sewing, painting, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was of Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Tease and Darrell Lanier; sister, Charlene Garcia, and her aunt, Francis Guffy.

She is survived by her children, Joe Lanier (Nikki), Antonio Lopez (Chantel), Elizabeth Lopez, and Jose Antonio Lopez Jr.; grandchildren, Selina Maxwell (David), Dominick Lopez (Chasten Rice), Madison Lopez, Joe Lanier Jr., Elena Lanier, Julian Lopez, Noah Lopez, Alyson Lopez, Sophia Lanier, Octavia Lopez, and Millie Lopez; great grandchildren, Haston Maxwell, Salem Maxwell, and Carsen Maxwell; siblings, Jimmy Lanier (Maria) and Nakeshia Matthews (Asian); several nieces and nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation and her memorial service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home at a later determined time.
