Vera L. Kelso Pettus

She is survived by a daughter, Anita Short and husband Don; two daughters-in-law, Pat Pettus and Jewell Pettus; two grandsons, Dr. Mark Short (Tracy) and Kent Short, two granddaughters, Kim McClaren (Ron) all of Lawrenceburg, TN, Kris Francis (Jason) of Summertown, TN, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; three step great-great grandchildren; three step-great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin G. Pettus of eighty years; two sons, Bill and Jim Pettus, her parents, Will and Loretto Williams Kelso; three sisters, Lorene Frakes, Kitty Smith, Annie Pulley, three brothers, Elbert, Joe and Bernie Kelso.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11 am at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel with Brad Lowery officiating and interment in O.K. Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2011 from 5 ~ 8 pm at Pettus-Turnbo.
