Mrs. Violet Jean Rubert Bishop, age 79 of Lawrenceburg passed away on July 30, 2016 at Southern Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, homemaker and beautician. She attended Bethel Baptist and First Assembly of God.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Bishop, Marty Bishop and wife Tuesday; one dearly beloved grandchild, Moriah Bishop; one sister, Theona Bolin and husband Carl.
She was preceded in death by husband, Fred Bishop; two sons, Ricky and Stevie Bishop; her parents, Ben F. and Mary L. Rubert.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11 am with David Morgan officiating and interment in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Tuesday, August 2, 2016, 5 ~ 8 pm.
