Barb, you were so many things to me growing up, a mother figure, a sister, a best friend. You excelled in all those areas and taught me well. You taught me how to be a good wife and a good mother by Your excellent example. You were the best friend anyone could ask for. Our friendship lasted for fifty years and I can’t imagine life without you. We shared so many things, a love of God, a love of family, secrets, laughter, our art, great conversations, and life. Sister I will miss you everyday of my life, and I will shed some tears, but I will have beautiful memories that I will pull out and go through and I’ll smile because you made me so happy. You were an inspiration to me and I’ll be forever thankful that I got to call you my sister. Thanks Barb for loving me. I love you forever and always! You were my hero. THe wind beneath my wings.
