Barry was tied to Austin, a town he loved and never left. He served as a Staff Sargent for 6 years in the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged. He worked at the Pickel Research Center of the University of Texas for 10 years and enjoyed country music, road trips and his friends Jim, Mike and Jack Daniels. Barry will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Barry was preceded in death by his father; Wayne Walley, mother; Dimple Jones, brother; Kenney Walley and sister; Evelyn Corbin.
He is survived by his wife; Rebecca, step-son; Todd ( Eboni), step-daughter; Ashley and 3 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Barry requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Barry`s loved ones to join us in celebrating this beautiful life at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home in Leander on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.
