Bob Joe Crim

Bobbie Joe “Bob” Crim, 77, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at his residence in Cedar Park, Texas.

Bob was a master plumber and held a medical gas specialist license. He dedicated his career to his trade, working throughout the state of Texas. In his early years, he was the proud owner of Crim Plumbing, where he worked in residential and commercial projects. Before retiring, he worked Med gas which he really enjoyed and worked on numerous hospitals.

Bob took great pride in his profession. His work was precise, and throughout many years in the trade, he was highly respected.

While Bob had many accomplishments and proud moments throughout his life, his greatest pride was his children, Jennifer Lea and Robert Jacob “Jake".

Later in life, Bob married the love of his life, Connie Castor. He loved his family fiercely and cherished the time he spent with them.

Bob found great joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting, especially dove hunting, fishing, an avid reader, watching football, cooking on the pit, working in the yard, and gardening. He was happiest when he was outdoors, working with his hands, sharing a meal, or simply spending time with the people he loved.

Bob leaves behind his daughter, Jennifer Lea, and son-in-law, Jason Hunter, whom he respected greatly for the love and care he gave Jennifer; his son, Robert Jacob “Jake” Crim, and daughter-in-law, Mary Casey, whom he admired for her wit and professional accomplishments.

His greatest joy in his later years came from his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He treasured each of them and found pure happiness in being their grandfather: granddaughter, Ashlea Hunter-McCauley and her wife, Sarah; grandson Bryson Hunter, affectionately known as “Cowboy” and his girlfriend, Alyssa; James Crim and Benjamin Crim; and Great-grandchildren, twins Maddox and McKenna Hunter-McCauley.

He is also survived by his brother, Weldon, and sister-in-law, Carolyn; his sister, Linda Jean, and Buddy; sisters-in-laws Linda Joyce and Bernice; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie; his father, Leonard Crim; his mother, Mary Hyatt; and his brothers, Jimmy Crim and Doug Crim.

Bob was also fortunate enough to share a special bond with the Shelton family—Shane, Stacia, Steel, and Scottie.

Bob leaves behind a legacy of hard work, craftsmanship, devotion to family, and a life lived with pride and purpose. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his career.
