Brad was born on August 12, 1980 and was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2020. He was born in Austin, Texas to Alan and Brenda Sander. He was a wild and fearless little boy always tinkering with something and making sure his parents never had a moments peace. From taking apart his siblings and his toys, to working on vehicles as a teen, and finally on his truck as an adult he loved figuring out the mechanics of things and fixing them. A trait he passed on to his children. He grew up in and around the Austin area until getting his CDL in order to travel the world with 53 feet of chrome and steal behind him. He loved being out on the open road with nothing but miles and miles of asphalt.
In January of 2005, he met the love of his life, Jamie Artdana Zigler, and had a whirlwind love story straight out of a storybook. They married in March of 2006, and traveled around the U.S. together before welcoming their first son, Wyatte Frederick, who gracefully entered the world 2 months early. And there the real adventure began, 13 months later the two welcomed their first daughter, Madalynn Claire. Soon after they added Benjamin Alan and finally Sarabeth Luann to complete their loving family.
Life never slowed down, but Brad loved his family and often talked about how lucky he was to have met his soul mate. Brad and Jamie never really settled down any place, just going where the wind blew them.
Brad lived his life as a simple man and loved the simple things in life. Like his trucks, the many special camping trips, hikes, and beach trips with his young children and wife. He loved going out tubing and just getting to spend time with family. He couldn't get over how much love he was shown and looked forward to the annual family vacation with his in-laws. He didn't have a very good filter and had no problem telling you how it was, or at least how he thought it was. If you ever needed help though, especially with a vehicle he was the guy to call. Anyone that truly knew Brad knew on the inside he was a big luscious teddy bear.
He loved his family, every single one of them, even the family God chose for him through marrying his soulmate. He might not have always seen eye to eye with them, but he loved them none the less.
Over the years God had moved some mighty mountains in Brad's life and heart. He had changed him into a man of God, that radiated love and drew people to him. He loved listening to Kenneth Copeland on XM radio, he spent many miles just him, his 53 feet of chrome and steel, and Copeland on the radio to keep him company.
Brad was welcomed at Heaven's gate with open arms by his grandma Luanna, that couldn't possibly have loved her Bratly more if he would have been her own blood, his Mamaw and Papaw Walker, Grandpa Sander, Aunt Pat, and his baby daughter who was too precious for earth.
He leaves behind his soulmate and wife of 14 years, Jamie Sander. His 4 children Wyatte, Madalynn, Benjamin, and Sarabeth. As well as his parents Alan and Brenda Sander, his Granny Sander, sister Stephanie, her husband Steve, their two children, Elaine and Stephen. His brother Bryan and life partner Michelle. His father and mother-in-law James and Tina Zigler, sister-in-law Sarah and husband Billy, their two children Dana and Jenna, sister-in-law Shauna and her life partner Dennis, and their five children, Joshua, Jessica, Tristin, Gabriel and Brinley. Along with numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and trucking buddies who lovingly referred to Brad as Tinker. He will be greatly missed. Until we meet again, at those pearly gates, you will forever be our Asphalt Cowboy.
