Our light of love, Cloya Allen-Davis—a caring wife, mother, Nana, daughter, sister, and friend—returned Home on April 21, 2025. Her peaceful passing, surrounded by loved ones, marks the ultimate reward for a life lived successfully according to God’s plan.
Cloya accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Gailee Baptist Church.
Cloya Faye Allen-Davis, known as Faye, was born on September 25, 1954, in Galveston, Texas, to Pinkey and Jim Allen. She was the third of five children. She graduated high school with significant and numerous honors and excelled at Southwest College.
With an absolute regal presence and a desire for new experiences, Faye was a fashionista, educator, and a strong, purposeful business woman with a deep love for her family. She epitomized God’s love through her actions and character.
To Jacquie, Demond, and Deandra, she was more than a mother; she was Mommie, best friend, laughter partner, teacher of many things, supporter, and first love. She took immense pride in being Nana to Ericka, Maximos, Allaysha, Arion, Sydney, Sophia, DeAndre, Trevon, and Ajanae.
Most importantly, she was the beloved wife of Bob Davis. Their over 50 years together stand as a testament to a blessed union, one that transcends spiritual planes. Their love for each other endured before, during, and beyond this lifetime.
Faye joins her father, Jim, sister’s in law Lucille and Frances, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins who preceded her in passing.
Her sassy attitude, giving heart, extreme intelligence, powerful hugs, and beautiful smile will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
In honor of Cloya's life, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Leander Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad Rd., Leander, TX 78641.
