Kaye was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who devoted her life to caring for the people she loved.
Kaye was the beloved mother of her only child, Tori K. Woods. She was also a cherished grandmother to Brandie Goodson and Paige Anderson, and a proud great-grandmother to Raylee Anderson, Everett Anderson, and Scotti Goodson.
Kaye was a hardworking, steady, and dedicated woman who took great pride in her career. She retired after 30 years of service at Qwest and another 20 years with the State of Utah. She loved going to work every day and rarely called in sick or took vacation because she believed the work she did—helping people with employee benefits and payroll—was important. She cared about doing things right and, true to her nature, was always a “fixer.” She had a way of leaving everything better than she found it.
More than anything, Kaye loved her family and friends. She loved them deeply and spent her life putting the needs of others before her own. Caring for people was simply who she was. She gave her time, energy, heart, and everything she had until she could do no more.
Her family will remember her for her strength, determination, generosity, and the countless ways she made a difference in the lives of those around her. Her love and the lessons she left behind will live on through her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
