Florentino Quintanilla

He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro Quintanilla and Maria del Refugio Hernandez, and brothers Pedro Jr, Victor and Pedro Quintanilla. He married Maria Andrea Lopez on July 15, 1962 in Allende Coahuila, Mexico.

He is survived by sons Luis and wife Cristina Quintanilla, Hector and wife Sandra Quintanilla, Florentino Quintanilla Jr., daughter Melissa and husband David Ortiz. Grandchildren Hector Isaac and wife Karen Quintanilla, Abigail and husband Justin Swanberg, Desiree Quintanilla, Luis Shane Quintanilla, Emilee Ortiz and Alena Ortiz. Brothers Israel and wife Irma Quintanilla, Ruben and wife Lupe Quintanilla, Juan Jose Suarez and sisters Olga and husband Joe Columbus, and Elva Suarez.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Never turning down an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and spend time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 P.M., recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 Bagdad Rd., Leander, TX 78641. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1101 West New Hope Drive, Cedar Park, Texas 78613.
