George "Buddy" William Forehand Jr.

After high school, Buddy proudly served his country in the Air National Guard. Following his tour of duty, Buddy learned the art of sales by working at several garment and department stores. Ultimately, Buddy rose to be a very successful uniform sales executive for Horace Small Manufacturing Company where he received numerous sales awards and created a stellar sales reputation in the state of Texas.

Buddy enjoyed watching college football (go Volunteers), having flashy cars, drinking loads of coffee, spending time with family, walking in the neighborhood, and having quiet time with the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George William Forehand Sr. and Lillian Alley Forehand.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, and two daughters, Ashley and her husband David Pinter, their children Georgia and Nash of Round Rock, Texas and Leslie, her husband, Lance Dawes and their children Gracen and Landyn of Leander, Texas. He is also survived by his remaining cousin, Ms. Lee Yarbro Campbell of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made in Buddy’s name to St. Jude's.

A celebration of life for Buddy will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad Rd., Leander,Texas 78641.
