Iris F. Wieland

Iris Florene Anna Jansen Wieland passed away on March 18, 2021,at the age of 95 lacking 3 days being 96 to live in eternity with her heavenly Father. Iris was born at her home in Walburg Texas on March 21,1925 to Erna Emma Mueller Jansen and Benhard Arnold Jansen.

She has been a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Austin for 67 years. She enjoyed being a homemaker all her life and family and friends were of most important to her .She was very strong physically, mentally and a never give up attitude and we love her very much.

Iris is survived by her daughter Sandra and Eddie Sowell and son Larry Wieland and Bryan Lorance. She has 2 granddaughters Dee Ann and Bill Rundzieher and Amy and Steve Grant. Iris has 6 great grandsons Ryan, Ashley, Ben, Jordyn, and Will Rundzieher and Sam, Rob and Trey Grant and 2 first cousins Edwina Sybert and Jalane Kerlin and many nieces and nephews. and cousins.

Iris was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Erna, her husband, Marvin, her brother, Orville Jansen, and her sister, Gloria Ferrell.

Her body will be laid to rest in the Dessau Lutheran cemetery next to her husband, which is right next to her childhood farm home.

Funeral Services were held in Faith Lutheran Church, 6600 Woodrow Ave in Austin, TX 78757, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 21, 2021. It would have been her 96th birthday.

A graveside service for Iris was held Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Dessau Lutheran Cemetery, 13300 Dessau Rd., Austin, TX 78754.

Serving as pallbearers are Ryan Rundzieher, Ben Rundzieher, Will Rundzieher, Sam Grant, Trey Grant and Rob Grant.
