Jeanice is survived by her loving husband, Keith Newton; children, Johnathon, Adam, and Eric Newton; granddaughter Asher Newton; Grandmother Amelia Padilla; sister Selena Pacheco; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family, all of whom she absolutely adored. She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma Padilla, uncle Leonard Padilla, baby brother, Santino, and cousin, Leiana Padilla.
Jeanice was born on October 3, 1970, in Beeville, TX. She married Keith Newton in 1988 and right away became a military spouse, traveling around the world and the country over the next decade. Jeanice was incredibly artistic and had three wonderful boys who all have an artistic ability as well! They are all men now and they were her first priority in everything. She was a VERY giving person of herself... She also acted as a mother for a few years to nieces & nephew, Mariah, Nate, and Jayden Alejo; then again for her granddaughter Asher Newton. She was the sweetest, and at the same time, toughest woman you might ever meet.
Several years before her passing, she found God and made Him a priority in her life. Her influence led her husband back to God as well. Rest assured... Jeanice has a special place in heaven and is likely already watching over the rest of the family.
A Celebration of Life for Jeanice is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home on Bagdad Road in Leander, Texas where we welcome friends and family to share their fond memories of her. It will be immediately followed by a graveside burial ceremony at Bagdad Cemetery just down the street. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Jeanice A. Newton, 1200 S Bagdad Rd, Leander, TX 78641.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.wcfishleander.com for the Newton family.
