Jeannette Hollis

Frances Jeannette (Ingram) Hollis passed away in her home in Leander with family on August 31st 2022. She was 90 years of age. Born on April 8th 1932 in Campti, Louisiana. Her parents were Henry Thomas Ingram and Delra Bea Ross. She had 3 siblings, Henry Thomas Ingram JR., Waymon Ingram and Marion Ingram(Janie)

Jeannette later married Hubert Wayne Rose and moved to Texas where she raised her family. Married at a young age she was the mother of 8 children. She later married Thomas Henry Hollis (Bud) and lived in Leander until he passed away. She stayed in Leander, living with her daughters for the remainder of life.

Jeannette was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother Henry Jr. and her sister Marion. She was also preceded by the passing of her daughter in law Casey Rose and Douglas Nelson.

Jeannette lived a long and full life. She is survived by her brother Waymon Ingram and her children Evelyn Moore, David Rose and, John Rose and wife Kaye Watson, William Rose and Wife Shelly Parrish, Delra Nelson, Janie Miller and husband Donald Miller, Martha Rose, and Michael Rose. There are also numerous grandchildren, great grand children and great, great grand children. She was a generous and caring person who gave us unconditional love and support throughout our lives. The love she has shared will be dearly missed.

A graveside service for Jeannette will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Andice Cemetery, 6867 FM 970, Florence, TX 76527.
