JoAnn was devoted to her family, especially to Ed, her beloved husband of over 60 years. JoAnn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She and Ed were passionate bowlers, golfers, square-dancers, and card players. She played a mean game of Skip Bo, but you had to pay attention when playing Quiddler because she could make up pretty convincing words of her own. McDonald’s was her favorite restaurant, and a Coke and a bag of Lays potato chips was her go-to dinner. She was crazy about her Tampa Bay Rays; she would tolerate you if you were a Red Sox or Yankee’s fan, but it was difficult.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her dear husband, Ed, her brother, Jack, her son, Dennis, and her granddaughter, Hannah. JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Susy, her son, Jeff, and by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on October 25, 2025, at 12:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1774 Ronald Reagan Blvd, Leander, TX 78641, US.
