John Edward Sluss was born April 9, 1984 in Kilgore, Texas. He passed from this life June 24, 2022 in Georgetown, Texas. John grew up in Lake Palestine, Texas. He had lived in Leander for the past 9 years, moving here from Tyler, Texas. John enjoyed tinkering with electronics and fixing things. He liked going to the lake, spending time outdoors and was a thrill seeker. He was fiercely dedicated to his family and enjoyed spending time with his wife and children. He is survived by his wife Betty Brooks; children, Harper Sluss, Kayden Hebert and Branden Keiper; sisters, Jamie Frye and Ashley Murphy; 4 nieces and nephews; his mother, JoLynn Murphy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
