Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Nancy made her home in Houston, Texas, where she filled her days with faith, family, and friendship. Throughout her career in the legal industry, she was known for her integrity, sharp mind, and strong work ethic. But her greatest joy was being “Nana”… a title she cherished above all others.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Marissa, and her children, Shane and Kayden; and by her son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Sarah Darley, and their children, Kameron, Paiten, Kylie, Brayden, and Emily. Her family was the light of her life, and she poured her love and energy into each of them.
Deeply rooted in her faith, Nancy devoted herself to ministry through Kairos and Bridges to Life, where she shared compassion, strength, and hope with everyone she met. Though she was small in stature, Nancy was truly “tiny but mighty”…. a force of love and grace whose presence will be missed for a lifetime.
Nancy had been ready to meet her Savior for some time, confident in her faith and at peace with her journey. While her loved ones will miss her dearly, they find comfort in knowing she is now free… dancing with the angels, her spirit shining in every beautiful sunset and glowing beneath every bright moon.
Those who wish to honor Nancy’s memory are invited to live as she did; with kindness in their hearts, a spirit of service, and love that touched everyone she met.
