Normand Grant Oldham, age 90, passed away peacefully in his home on September 16, 2025 in Cedar Park, Texas. He was born on December 9, 1934 in Jerome, Idaho, to Pearl Evagene Walker and Lloyd Grant Oldham.
Normand lived a life of service, faith, and adventure. He served nine years in the Air Force Reserves, while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Idaho State University and an MBA from the University of Utah. He went on to a distinguished career as a criminal investigator for the U.S. Treasury Department, retiring at the age of 55. Later he continued to work in private and financial investigation for various law firms.
Outside of his professional accomplishments, Normand had many passions. He was a gifted tenor soloist and choir director for more than 40 years, a personal pilot, and an avid motorcyclist. He also served as a basketball and football referee, and gave much of his time in service through various callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara M. Rhea Oldham; brother, Lloyd Paul Oldham; children, Rachelle Oldham Boyer, Christine Oldham Stout, David N. Oldham, and Kristen McKim; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Grant Oldham; his sisters, Larene and MelloDee Oldham; and his son, Troy D. Millward.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:30-11:15am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1004 W Park St. Cedar Park, Texas 78613. Funeral services will follow at 11:30am. A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas.
Normand will be remembered for his deep faith, his love of music, and his dedication to his family, friends, and community.
