Randal (Randy) Kent Melton passed on May 12th, 2024 due to Stage-4 Lung Cancer. He was born in Holland, Michigan on March 23, 1965 to Rex and Velma Melton. Randy lived a life filled with many different adventures getting to see the world with the military and help maintained different planes one being the E3 (AWACS) Sentry for the United States Airforce. But was a family man at heart being a loving and encouraging father and loving husband showing his children he was proud of them and being there for his wife through all their struggles in life.
Randal is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Debbie Melton; Daughters, Nichole Johnson, Alexis (Lexi) Melton and his only son Daniel Melton. His family loved him dearly and held every moment with him close to their hearts, enjoying many years of love and laughter even some craziness thrown into the mix. He was a Godly man and taught his children about love and how to take on the big world around them with the Lord by their side every step of the way. Randy is also survived by his parents and his twin brother, Terry Melton and his sister Karen Chisholm, and several family members.
A Memorial service will be celebrated at 12pm-2:30pm on May 25th, 2024 at City Reach Church, 3502 Hatch Rd, Cedar Park, TX 78613. A ‘Honoring Those Who Served’ will occur at a later date at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.
