Did you hear us sing happy birthday to you? I Wish I could’ve known you better, almost-birthday twin💫🩷🫂🧚🏼‍♀️

My grandma was very kind and gentle. I didn't see her often because I didn't  live in Austin, but when I would see her she gave me everything I could've asked for.  Toys, food, gifts, everything. Me and Tristan were never unhappy when we would visit. I had bought some pins for her, The Golden Girls, because anytime I was there thats what she would be watching. Me and Tristan love and miss her so much.

Sandra was my sister. We shared life as children and a little as adults due to my home distant in Australia. She survived a deprived childhood, and overcame mountainous obstacle to raise her family and be with Terry to the last day of her life. Her ready sense of humour helped her in so many of her life crises. My fondest memory as an adult occurred when I visited her at the hotel she managed in Valdez. She was voicing her sentiment about the uncouth customers that used her spotless face clothes to clean their dirty boots. She spared me when I told her I had also done that. I suspect she had spared me often when we grew up in a mob of boys with just one girl.
I know Terry will miss her strength. I am so sorry for all her family who must carryon without her. Her legacy to all of us is that we can and will carryon to make the most of our lives. She did!



I’m sorry for everyone’s loss of my Aunt Sandra.  I never got to know her for myself, but I know she’s made a huge impact in this family’s life and will be dearly missed.

I wish for everybody with an empty place left in their hearts to fill it with warm memories and the image of her within you which will never leave.

If you know her dearly in your heart, then you likely know exactly what she’d reply if you ask her - and you can speak to her any time.

My Mom spent her entire life fighting to protect the ones that she loved. She pulled each of her kids and several Grandkids out of the various troubles we got ourselves into. She was supportive and compassionate to all of us. I am having trouble imagining our lives without her.
My favorite memories of her are Thanksgiving and Christmas, especially Christmas. She loved Christmas, she is what drew the family together for the holidays. She made the best stuffing, her Mamas recipe and she taught me. 
She was smart and went to college in her 40's. She had her own antique store for many years. I miss her already.

Uncle Terry and kids.....  me and pops just wanted to say we are sooooo sorry for your loss....  we went through the same thing last year with mom.....  as hard as it is....   you won't forget her but it will get easier....  we love her and we love y'all! Anything you need just let us know!  Mom was cremated also.....  pops keeps her ash's next to his bed....  when she gets cold he covers her up.....   it's amazing what love can do and as we pass hopefully we will be angels just like them!  We love you!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Sandra was a very special person that I loved very much. I used to come help her with the kids but in reality, she was helping me thru my tough teen years. I have many fond memories of her. I hope all of your memories help sustain you through this tough time.

Sandra was a wonderful sister to me.  She taught me to read, write, and do arithmetic before I started school.  She was always kind to me.

Perhaps the most wonderful thing about her is that she always wanted the very best for me and my family.  Her heart for me was huge.
