Sandra Harris McHargue

February 18, 1947 to January 4, 2023

Sandra Harris Mchargue of Leander died January 4, 2023 at the age of 75.

Sandy was born one of four girls in Paris, Texas in 1947 to parents B.C. and Johnnye

Faye Harris.

She was a beautiful, strong, and courageous mother, grandmommy and great-grandmommy and is survived by her son and his wife, Dustin and Ta-rel Runnels, her daughter and her husband, Kristin and Don Ditto, her daughter Amanda Rountree, her three grandchildren Dakota, Dalton, and Dylan, and by her sisters Shari, Judy, and their families. She was preceded in death by her sister Gayla.

Sandy lived her life up to the age of 74 as a successful hairdresser with numerous clients that she would go on to call lifelong friends. She was a faithful, loyal servant of the Lord spending Sundays worshiping at church, followed by social time with her close friends whom she cherished so dearly. Her greatest joys were times spent with her grandchildren attending games and other special events, and sharing in the milestones of their lives.

Any contributions or donations to the American Cancer Society are welcomed and encouraged.

A private memorial service and celebration of life will be held in Liberty Hill,Texas on Saturday, January 14th.

The family is eternally grateful to all of those who have supported them with phone calls, texts, flowers, cards, and more. They are thankful for the friendship and love that you all have shown Sandy throughout her many happy years.

Her legacy lives on in our hearts and lives forever.
