Shanna Rene Hennigar was born Shanna Rene Conrad on April 9, 1981, to James Austin and Alice Fay Conrad in Austin, Texas.

She grew up in Leander, Texas, with her three brothers, Adam, Nathan and Steven Conrad. She later gained two more siblings, Samantha and Robert, and a brother-like cousin, Michael Patrick, when her father married her second mother, Shawn Phelps. Shanna graduated from Leander High School in 1999 and had her first son, Jesse, soon after. She married the love of her life, Kody Hennigar, in 2006. Together they had two more children, Kamrin and Lillian, and raised the three of them together as a family.

She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, aunt, and beloved friend to so many. Family always came first in Shanna’s life and she loved to spend time with her children, her large extended family, and countless friends that she came to love who were adopted into her family unit.

She loved life passionately. Many will always remember her vibrancy, her joy, her determination, her contagious laughter, and her love for music and singing. She brought color, light and passion to everything and everyone she touched. She will always be loved, remembered, and greatly missed.

Shanna is preceded in death by her grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. She leaves behind her husband, her three children, her parents, her siblings, her nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her large extended family.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services Leander, 1200 S Bagdad Rd, Leander, Texas.

She will always be remembered for the life, color and magic she brought into the world.

Shanna, I will miss you and your big hugs very much. You were always my Neice from the moment you married Kody.
You have been so strong through all of this. You are an example of what can be achieved through sheer willpower.
I will miss you hon. I wish we had more time. The stupid virus has made me a hermit, I am determined not to get sick. But I missed time with you and I am so sorry 😞.
I have many relatives you can meet in heaven. I think you would have liked my older Sister. She was like you, strong in her convictions. Say hi for us. Love you. Aunt Mary

I met Shanna through my children. Her smile and personality was a charming part of her. She would light up a room with her laughter. Shanna was beautiful and now her beauty lives on in heaven. I will miss her calling me Maw. I feel like I was a privileged person to have known her. My heart goes out to her family, Cody, and most of all to her children. You have left so many people behind that loved you. I will never forget you and your sweetness that you had for people that you cared for.
