Sheila Dawn Seebeck, age 61, of Liberty Hill, Texas, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021.

Sheila was born June 18, 1960, in Austin, Texas, to Daniel Marion Truitt and Mary Roean (Cowan) Truitt.

She lived most of her life in Leander, Texas, where she attended grade school through high school.

Soon after high school she met Duane Seebeck and moved to Arizona to start a family and new life.

She was a hard worker and loved to work, which led her to receive many awards and certifications. One of her proudest moments at work was when she met her idol Ted Nugent and most recently Elon Musk.

While in Arizona Sheila and her family attended the First Southern Baptist Church and were distributors for Amway Distributing Company.

Sheila also loved to sew, craft, garden, and go camping. She was most proud of her fish ponds that she designed and built herself.

Sheila is preceded in death by husband Duane Alan Seebeck and father Daniel Marion Truitt.

She is survived by her:

Children Alicia Hansen and husband James (Leander, Texas), Brent Truitt (Tucson, Arizona), Deleenia and Ben (Apache Junction, Arizona), Bridget Seebeck (Liberty Hill, Texas), and Drake Truitt and fiancé Elizabeth Coursey (Liberty Hill, Texas)

Grandchildren Destiny Montgomery, Isaiah Hansen, Makayla Kalmback, Evin Kalmback, Aydan Baker, and Ryleigh Truitt.

Mother Mary Hodge and husband Brad, sisters Sherri, Sandra, and Starla, long time friend Robert George, and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October, 17, 2021, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad, Leander, Texas 78641.

Sheila was like a 2nd mother to me growing up. As some may know, her daughter Alicia and I were best friends growing up. I remember her always treating me like one of her own, since I was there an awful lot. She will be greatly missed. Very sad to hear of her passing.
