Suzanne Lisa Adams passed away peacefully at New Hope Manor nursing home in Cedar Park, TX at the age of 64. Known for many years now as Nana, mom was a 55-year seamstress, and spent 23 of her more recent years happily driving a school bus for Leander ISD.
Mom was born on April 11th, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. She was adopted by Rod and Gloria Mayo, and raised in Hartford, Michigan, until she moved to South Carolina for a year, and then to Texas in November of 1985, where she PROUDLY resided for just a few months shy of the last 40 years. Suzanne was the proud mother of 2 boys.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria, on this very same day, July 29th in 2018, her youngest son, Justin Benham on June 7th, 2023, and her husband TSGT Kenneth Gene Adams Sr. (USAF Ret.) on January 21, 2024.
Suzanne is survived by her oldest son, Kristofer Benham, her father Rod Mayo, her sister Cindi Robison, 3 step children: Autumn Adams, Kenneth Adams Jr., and Rhiannon Adams, 3 grandchildren, and 3 step grandchildren, and 1 niece
