Teresa was born to parents Linda Grace Passailaigue and Charles Gaches. She was a devoted mother of four, a cherished grandmother, a loving sister and daughter, and a loyal friend.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—gardening, painting, crocheting, dancing, and spending time with her family. Teresa was always trying to make the world around her more beautiful, sharing her laughter and love freely with others.
Teresa had a warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met. Her beautiful green eyes, contagious smile, sense of humor, devotion to God, and boundless love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She faced her illness with a level of grace and bravery most could only hope for. Even while she fought, she never stopped caring for those around her. Despite her untimely passing, she lived life fully—and her spirit will forever be etched in our hearts.
Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Lauren Duncan; her brother, Charles Anthony Campbell; and her parents—whose memories she carried with her always. She is survived by her loving children, Devon Ellis, Katelyn Duncan, and Maddelin McCloud; her sister, Cheryl Campbell; her treasured grandchildren: Torrin, Keilo, Gabriel, Jaxson, Mila, and Ezra; her niece, Chelbee Méndez; and her nephew, Colton Farnen.
A memorial service will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Please join us in celebrating her life and sharing your love and memories of her. The family asks that you honor Teresa’s memory by planting something beautiful or by spending time with those you hold dear—just as she always did.
Teresa was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed, but her life will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
