Todd was born on March 1, 1961, in El Paso, Texas. He moved to Liberty Hill in 1976 with his brothers, Terry and Jay Linebaugh, and their mother, Ruth Ann Marshall. This time era of his life gave Todd many life experiences that he often shared stories about. He rode bulls, played guitar, and played football. Todd also met Theresa Stifflemire and later had two sons together, Trenton and Taylor Linebaugh. Todd began his career journey with American Airlines and remained there for 32 years. Todd loved and cherished his American Airlines family. While working with American Airlines, he met Susan Butt. Todd and Susan were married on March 13, 2004, and spent their life together until the end. In 2014, Todd began his battle with cancer and eventually retired due to his ongoing health issues.
His greatest love was his children, his wife, and his two grandchildren. He enjoyed lawn care, music, college football, fishing, airplanes, his cats, and chickens. This all brought so much joy to his life.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Linebaugh, his two sons, Trent and Taylor Linebaugh (Cacey), grandchildren, Addison and Teagan Linebaugh, his brothers Terry (Barbara) and Jay (Kee) Linebaugh; his stepmother, Deborah Linebaugh; his mother-in-law, Alice Butt, and several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Marshall; his father, John Linebaugh; his sister, Veronique Linebaugh; Uncle Nelson; and Uncle Jerry.
A funeral service will be held at Bertram First Baptist Church located at 325 S. Gabriel St., Bertram, Texas 78605, on October 3, 2026, at 4 p.m. A celebration of life will be held immediately afterwards at 150 Rowlett Rd. In Liberty Hill, Texas 78642.
