Vicky shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Jim Johnson, and together they built a life centered around love, faith, laughter, and family. More than anything, Vicky was proud of the family she loved so deeply. Family was at the heart of who she was, and she made sure the people around her always knew how much they were loved.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Kirk, Julie, and Laura; her grandchildren, Robert, Victoria, Amber, Lindsey, Kathryn, and Mathew; her great-grandchildren, Maverick, Coraline, Woodrow, Dorothea, and Violet; and her sisters, Ginny and Shelley.
Vicky had a gift for bringing joy wherever she went. She was always cracking jokes, full of fun, and knew how to make people laugh. She loved life and loved the people in hers even more. She was the person everyone could turn to for wise advice, a listening ear, or a shoulder to cry on. She was always there when someone needed her.
Her faith in Jesus was deeply important to her and was evident in the way she lived and loved others. Vicky represented the love of Jesus through her kindness, generosity, compassion, and devotion to her family. She was a member of City Reach Church in Cedar Park and carried her faith with her throughout her life.
Vicky had a short career in retail, but the role she treasured most was caring for and loving her family. She especially loved baking for them, creating memories around food, laughter, and time spent together.
To her family, she was simply the best mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother they could have ever asked for. But to many beyond her family, she was also “Mema.” Her warmth and love had a way of making people feel like they belonged.
Vicky’s legacy will live on through the family she cherished, the faith she shared, the laughter she brought into every room, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1200 S. Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas 78641, on September 22, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the funeral at Cedar Park Cemetery, 101 S Bell Blvd, Cedar Park, Texas 78613.
The family would like to invite all guests to return to Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home following the burial for a catered reception from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
