Antoinette Margaret Stabs 88 of Cornwall, beloved wife, mother, and sister passed away at home on Sunday, October 4, 2026. She was born in Cornwall on September 17, 1938, a daughter of the late Anthony and Alverta (Whitman) Chernich. Antoinette married her husband Waldemar “Wally” Stabs on April 4, 1964, and spent 62 loving years together and had two sons, Steven Stabs of Lebanon, and Robert Stabs (with his wife, Meaghan) of Philadelphia. Mrs. Stabs enjoyed baking and playing games. She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters and hosting family events. She was a member Cornwall United Methodist Church. She is also survived by her sisters: Janice Massar (Fred) of Cornwall; Linda Mastracci of Cornwall; Joan Keller (Jerry) of Cleona and Jane Spangler of Cleona; and numerous nieces and nephews. Antoinette was predeceased by her brothers: Bruce and Gene Chernich. A Funeral Service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM with a Viewing from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.
