I had the pleasure of knowing april for the past 6 years. I worked closely with her everyday when she attended her favorite day program Project Able. Everyday she would come in so excited and that high pitch squeal you could not help but to adore her. We spent many of days shopping in walmart where she had to have her coke and I had to get my Sprite. I am truly saddened by her passing and praying for all who grieve as I do at this time. I attached one of my fav pics of her with santa. She was sooo excited when he showed up that day.

April was one of happiest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
April’s laugh and excitement lit up a room and she always knew how to make you feel important.
Supervising April’s home and watching her form connections and friendships was wonderful to watch. I will never forget her being so happy when she spent the night the first time in her new home on Elm Street.
My thoughts are with the family but I would like to give credit where credit is due. Barb and Gloria were her world, oh and we can NEVER forget Gary. She was so excited when new things happened in her life and made sure everyone knew we needed to tell you or call you.
It was such a pleasure working along side Barb and Gloria as we transitioned April in her home. It was never a question how much you both cared for her and she definitely knew it.
I have so many fond memories of April and will be forever grateful that she was in my life.
I surely hope heaven has an abundance of pencils!!
