Bev and Mike married on February 28, 1976 and have shared many adventures along their way. She enjoyed fishing on the banks of the Swatty and Juniata River, building and racing their 68' Camero at Maple Grove and Numidia Raceway, cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers Cale Yarborough and Dale Earnhardt, and being a true Philly fan, cheering players and jeering umpires when watching the Phillies or Eagles. She loved her dogs and her family was the center of her world.
Bev is survived by her daughter, Emily Newman; her stepson, Michael Newman Jr.; grandchildren, Annabelle Deufel, Megan Newman and Lindsay Newman; her sister, Susan Berkheiser; brothers, William (Sally) Kirkwood, Donald (Melinda) Kirkwood, Ted (Elise) Kirkwood and Daniel (Elaine) Kirkwood; and her mother, Kathryn; in addition to many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, William and a brother-in-law, George.
In accordance with Bev’s wishes, no formal services will be held; but please hold her memory in your heart.
