Born and raised in Romania to Nikolai and Florea Stoinel, Catalina immigrated to the United States in her late twenties to begin a new life filled with love, resilience, and devotion to her family.
She was the beloved wife of Dobramir Petcov, and the cherished mother of Vladislav Petcov. Catalina was also a loving mother-in-law to Elizabeth Petcov and a proud grandmother to Luca and Nikolai Petcov, whose lives were richly blessed by her care and affection.
Catalina will be remembered most for her deep dedication to her family and her extraordinary talent in the kitchen. Her home was always filled with the warmth of traditional meals, heartfelt conversation, and unwavering love. Her recipes, like her spirit, will live on in the generations she nurtured.
A faithful member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Lebanon, Catalina’s life was grounded in her faith, heritage, and the values she held dear.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Lebanon, on Tuesday July 29, 2025 at 11:00am. There will be a viewing at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be private in Union Salem Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes your prayers and kind remembrances as they honor the life of a woman who gave so much and loved so deeply.
