Clara M. Peiffer

Clara M. “Honey Girl” Peiffer, 77, Lebanon, died Monday February 20, 2012 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late John M. Peiffer. She was born in Lebanon on May 16, 1934 a daughter of the late Earl and Cecilia Hollinger Hartlieb, Sr. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1952 and was a member of Tabor UCC, Lebanon. She is survived by children: Cheryl M. wife of Stephen O’Kane, West Chester; John C. and wife Eleanor Peiffer, New Port Richey, FL; Lori P. wife of Jerry L. Kahl, Richland; grandchildren: Timothy J. Wells and wife Whitney, Thayne Kahl, Owen Kahl, Jessica Peiffer, John R. Peiffer; great-granddaughter: Ella N. Wells; brother: Paul Hartlieb; sisters: Margaret Light, Genevieve Batz; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons: Timothy J. and Douglas E. Peiffer; brothers: Edward, Earl and William Hartlieb and sisters: Earlene Hartman, Dorothy Smith and Dora Hermansky. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be made in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Meals on Wheels Program through the Area Agency on Aging, 710 Maple St., 2nd Floor, Lebanon, PA 17046.
