Heartfelt prayers to all the Ebling family from your Michigan family! Sending my love & hugs to you today, Joanne, Scott & Kris, Kelly & Lisa. And prayers to my daughter Ashley who has always mentioned what a great father in law Dave was. And of course I can’t forget my hugs & kisses for all the grandkids, 3 of which we share a common bond with forever! Fortunately I had a chance to meet Dave & Joanne when they visited Michigan and also when I visited them in Pennsylvania . You were both so hospitable & kind to me while staying at your home. Joanne cooking for the gang and getting to know each other better over family dinners. I enjoyed the stories! I enjoyed going with your family to all your favorite places in Pennsylvania. Memories that I will always have and cherish forever. Grandma Crowell & my brother & sisters and all our kids send their love & prayers to you all as you mourn the loss of Dave a beloved husband, father, and grandfather! Rest In Peace dear Dave. You will be missed!

I knew Dave my whole life as neighbors. Dave was like a third grandpa and I always assumed he was tired of seeing me and my brother at his house every weekend and all summer long. I’ll always remember going to the butcher shop and saw my first butcher that gave me nightmares. You were a good man and I enjoyed all our talks over the years. Rest peacefully.
-I never did replace all of your golf balls I smashed into the yards of the houses at the other end of the street. Still can’t believe we never damaged anything or hit anybody. You even showed me how to swing to hit it even farther not worrying that we were hitting them across everybody’s yards.

He sponsored 2 teams for shuffle board from the Silver Dollar. Although I was not a really good player, he let play on the B team. He made welcoming and fun. He also showed me ways to improve on my game. When he came into the bar he always took time to talk to the customers as did his wife. He will be missed.
