Dennis Harold Barr, 73, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 in the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on March 6th, 1941 in Lebanon, a son of the late Harold L. and Erma E. Thompson Barr. Dennis was the husband of Patricia A. Young Barr for 48 years. Dennis worked for several Civil Engineering Companies and also served in various local Municipal Government positions. He was a Member and Elder of Calvary Church. Surviving in addition to his wife is daughters: Carin L, wife of Jeffrey L. Kuhn, Lebanon and Danielle Simmers of Pine Grove; grandchildren: Britney Layne Ealy; Zachary L. Kuhn; Samantha N. Kuhn and Kristofer A. Simmers; sister: Janet, wife of Samuel Reed, Campbelltown; nieces. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at 11:00AM in Calvary Church 1330 Pennsylvania Ave., Lebanon, PA., 17046 with his pastor Rev. Mark Kutz officiating. There will be a visitation will be a visitation from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
