Dianna Jean Stopinski, 76, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born on September 14, 1949, a daughter of the late James Eugene Rankin and Elsie Gladys (Widger) Rankin. On May 22, 1986, she married her beloved husband, Theodore “Tedd” Stopinski, who sadly passed away on May 3, 2006. They are now forever reunited in Heaven.
Dianna was an active member of the St. Mary’s Catholic church for many years, volunteering her time with community outreach, adult catholic learning and Sunday School. After graduating from Middlesex College, she worked as a computer programmer for Monsanto. In her spare time, she loved to read romance and mystery novels, tend her garden and was a skilled seamstress; creating many Halloween costumes, nightgowns, and quilts for her cherished grandchildren. She also enjoyed relaxing with classic tv shows like Walker Texas Ranger and M*A*S*H.
Dianna is survived by her daughters, Tina (Tharon Balsbaugh) Phelps and Dawn (Mike) Bode; grandchildren, Ashley Rasmussen, Thomas (Ellie) Dideriksen, George E. Phelps IV, Victoria Bode and Michael Bode; great grandchildren, Everleigh Dianna Marsteller and Gawain Elowyn Acker; sister, Barbara Powell; and her niece, Paula (Mark) Cole.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Dianna at a later date, information will be announced on rohlandfh.com.
