Dorothy M Sabo

Dorothy M. Sabo (Dottie), 101, passed away on Tuesday January 7, 2025 in Stone Ridge Towne Centre. She was the wife of the late Matthew W. Sabo. Dorothy was born in Lebanon on May 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Paul and Mamie Wilhide Watson. She was employed by Everite Knitting Mills and later worked part-time at Philhaven and volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a lifelong member of Covenant U. M. Church where she served on the Chancel Guild and in the nursery. She was also a member of the Friendship Fire Company, the Order of Amaranth and the Lebanon Senior Center.

Dorothy is survived by a son: David M. and wife Barbara Sabo, Lebanon as well as 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Rose (who died in infancy); son: Ronald P. Sabo as well as his wife Marion; brother: Paul L. Watson and sister: June Foltin. She will be interred in Grand View Memorial Park with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
