Douglas Stanley Haughton Sr.

Douglas Stanley Haughton Sr., 81, of Palmyra, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 15th, 2016. He was born on July 10th, 1935 in Warwick County, VA., a son of the late William Stanley and Mary Louise Auman Haughton. Douglas was the husband of Nancy Brewin Haughton for 60 years. Mr. Haughton was a retired Nuclear Designer. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Lebanon where he actively served in various ministries. Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Nancy Haughton Thomas of GA; Douglas Stanley Jr, husband of Vivian Carol Haughton, Palmyra; Warren William, husband of Teresa Lynne Haughton, KY; Allen Edward, husband of Julie Nantz Haughton, OH and Mary Louise, wife of John David Baxter III, VA; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother: John, husband of Connie Haughton, VA; several nieces and nephews. Douglas was predeceased by brothers: William and Robert Haughton. Funeral service will be held at Faith Baptist Church 220 S. 22nd St, Lebanon PA, 17042, Friday August 19th, 2016 at 7:00PM with viewing from 6:00PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Douglas’s memory to the Mission Fund of Faith Baptist Church.
