

Elizabeth A. “Libby” Pinegar, 62, of Myerstown, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard K. Pinegar, Sr. with whom she would have celebrated 41 years of marriage on August 16th. She was born in Lebanon on November 1, 1953, a daughter of the late Richard A. Mease, Sr. and Gloria F. Queck Mease. Libby was employed by the Department of Veteran Affairs in program support and served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Lebanon; Richland American Legion, Post 880 and Myerstown VFW. She served a past county commander of the Lebanon American Legion. She was participated in bowling leagues at the Eagles Club of Lebanon and St. Gertrude’s Club. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family beach trips to Ocean City, MD. Libby loved to entertain and be around people and was in charge of the Pinegar Annual Pig Roast which was held for the last 18 years. She was a very patriotic person, loved her red, white and blue, and was proud of her whole family serving in the military. The family would like to give a special thank you to the ICU and Hospice Units at the Lebanon VA Medical Center for the care they provided. Libby’s favorite saying was “Get Over It”. Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Melissa C. wife of Shannon R. Boustany, Sr.; Andrea N. wife of Jeffrey M. Stine; R. Kevin Pinegar, Jr. husband of Lauren all of Myerstown; grandchildren, Shannon Jr., Kylie, Kala, Keira, Kaleb and Aubrey; brothers, James Mease, Richard Mease, Jr., George Mease, Steven Mease; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Mease. Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 15th at 9 AM in Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Entombment will be held following the service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM in Rohland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Lebanon VA Medical Center Hospice Unit, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
